The Chicago Bears announced Monday that they’ve re-signed TE Daniel Brown to a one-year contract and tendered contracts to exclusive rights free agents WR Josh Bellamy and DB Bryce Callahan.
Brown, 24, wound up signing on with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent out of James Madison back in May of 2015. He spent a year and a half in Baltimore before he was waived in October of last year and later claimed off of waivers by the Bears.
In 2016, Brown appeared in eight games for the bears and caught 16 passes 124 yards receiving and one touchdown.
Bellamy, 27, originally signed on with the Chiefs as an undrafted free agent out of Louisville back in 2012. He had brief stints with the Chargers and Redskins before eventually being claimed off of waivers by the Bears in April of 2014. Chicago brought Bellamy back on an exclusive rights deal last year.
In 2016, Bellamy caught 19 passes for 282 yards receiving and one touchdown over the course of 16 games.
