The Bengals announced Monday that they’ve placed OL Clint Boling and TE Tyler Eifert on season-ending injured reserve.
Cincinnati will likely add a few players to their active roster for their final game of the season.
Eifert, 26, is a first-round pick of the Bengals back in 2013. He’s currently in the fourth year of his four-year, $8.256 million contract but is under contract for the 2017 season after the Bengals picked up his fifth-year option earlier in the year.
In 2016, Eifert appeared in eight games for the Bengals and caught 29 passes for 194 yards receiving and five touchdowns.
Boling, 27, is a former fourth-round pick of the Bengals back in 2011. He’s currently in the second year of his five-year, $26 million contract that included $5 million guaranteed and stands to make a base salary of $4.05 million and $4.55 million over the next two years.
In 2016, Boling appeared in 14 games and is rated by Pro Football Focus as the No. 35 guard out of 77 qualifying players.
