McRae, 25, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of North Carolina A&T back in May of 2017. However, he lasted less than a week in Oakland before he was waived and later signed by the Bengals during the preseason.
McRae was on and off of the Bengals’ active roster in 2017 and returned to Cincinnati on a future/reserve contract for the 2018 seson.
After the Bengals waived him coming out of the preseason, the Ravens signed him to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster.
After being waived, claimed by the Bills, and waived again, McRae signed back to the Bengals practice squad and was promoted to the active roster.
In 2018, McRae appeared in 12 games, recording five tackles, one forced fumble and one pass defense.
