The Cincinnati Bengals announced Sunday that they’ve placed LB Paul Dawson on waivers.
The Bengals do have one roster spot open on their practice squad, so it’s possible they could add him to this unit if he clears waivers.
Dawson, 23, was taken in the third-round of last year’s draft with the No. 99 overall pick. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $2.896 million contract and set to make a base salary of $525,000 for the 2016 season.
In 2015, Dawson appeared in 11 games for the Bengals and recorded 12 tackles and a pass defense.
