The Vikings announced Wednesday former DE Brian Robison has signed a one-day contract to retire with the team.

Robison, 35, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2007. He played all 11 seasons in Minnesota before being released near final roster cuts in 2018.
For his career, Robison appeared in 173 games for the Vikings. He recorded 290 total tackles, 60 sacks, 13 forced fumbles and eight recoveries, one defensive touchdown and 20 pass defenses.
Robison’s 60 career sacks rank ninth in Vikings franchise history.
