Broncos HC Vic Fangio told reporters that DL Adam Gotsis suffered ACL and meniscus injures that required him to undergoing surgery.
The Broncos will place Gotsis on injured reserve in the coming days, per Nicki Jhabvala.
Fangio mentions that this is the same he knee Gotsis injured during his college career.
Gotsis, 27, is a former second-round pick of the Broncos back in 2016. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.9 million contract and set to make a base salary of $986,987 for the 2019 season.
Gotsis is in line to be an unrestricted free agent for the first time in his NFL career enxt year.
In 2019, Gotsis appeared in nine games for the Broncos and recorded 16 tackles, no sacks and two pass defenses.
