The Denver Broncos are re-signing LB Joe Jones to a one-year contract on Saturday, according to Nicki Jhabvala.
Jones was set to be a restricted free agent this offseason, but the Broncos declined to tender him a contract earlier in the week.
Jones, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern back in 2017. He later signed on with the Cowboys.
Jones had brief stints with the Chargers and Seahawks before the Broncos signed him to their active roster towards the end of the 2017 season. He returned to Denver the past two years on exclusive rights deals.
In 2019, Jones appeared in 12 games and recorded five tackles for the Broncos.
