Dolphins, Packers, Broncos & Browns Request Interviews With Steelers OL Coach Mike Munchak

According to Adam Schefter, the Broncos have requested permission to interview former Titansโ€™ HC and current Steelersโ€™ OL coach Mike Munchak for their head coaching job.

  • Schefter adds that the Packers have also requested permission to meet with Munchak about their head coaching vacancy.
  • Alex Marvez reports that the Browns are also expected to request an interview with Munchak.
  • According to Jason La Canfora, the Dolphins have also requested an interview with Munchak.

Munchak, 58, played 12 years in the NFL for the Houston Oilers. He was a nine-time Pro Bowl selection, four-time first-team All Pro, and was elected to the Hall of Fame in 2011.

Munchak began his NFL coaching career in 1994 with the Oilers as their offensive assistant/quality control coach and eventually worked his way up to being the Titans head coach in 2011. After Tennessee fired following his third season, Munchak agreed to become the Steelersโ€™ offensive line coach in 2014.
