Browns Officially Cut 18 Players

The Cleveland Browns have begun the process of trimming their roster down to 53 players. Here’s the list of roster cuts up to this point:

16. DB Eric Patterson
17. P Kasey Redfern
18. LB Justin Tuggle

Other roster moves include:

• WR Josh Gordon and DL Armonty Bryant (Suspended List)

• RB Rajion Neal (Injured Reserve)

Desir, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Browns back in 2014. He’s in the third year of his four-year, $2.63 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Desir appeared in 14 games for the Browns and recorded 37 tackles, no interceptions and five pass defenses.
