Browns Claim LB Tae Davis Off Waivers From Giants

According to Field Yates, the Browns have claimed LB Tae Davis off waivers from the Giants. 

Davis was waived yesterday to make room for DL Leonard Williams. 

He was New York’s Week 1 starter at inside linebacker but a combination of injuries and other additions made him expendable for New York. 

Davis, 23, was signed by the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Chattanooga in 2018. He signed a three-year $1.71 million deal and was able to make the team’s final roster as a rookie.

In 2019, Davis appeared in four games and recorded five total tackles.
