Browns Sign DL Gabe Wright To Practice Squad, Cut WR Darius Jennings

The Cleveland Browns announced Thursday that they’ve signed DL Gabe Wright to their practice squad and waived WR Darius Jennings from the unit.

The Browns’ practice squad now consists of:

1. OL Mike Liedtke
2. OL Dan France
3. DL Gabe Wright
4. QB Kevin Hogan
5. DB Ed Reynolds
6. CB Trey Caldwell
7. LB Scooby Wright
8. RB Terrell Watson
9. WR Josh Boyce
10. TE E.J. Bibbs

Wright, 24, is a former fourth-round pick of the Lions back in 2015. He was unfortunately among their roster cuts coming out of the preseason but later signed to the Browns’ practice squad last week.

The Browns promoted Wright to their active roster a few weeks into the regular season before cutting him loose on Wednesday.

In 2016, Wright appeared in two games for the Browns and recorded one tackle and a pass defense.
