The Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced that they have promoted WR Josh Huff from their practice squad.
Huff, 25, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2014. He was in the third year of his four-year, $2,820,944 contract and set to make a base salary of $615,000 for the 2016 season when the Eagles cut him loose.
The Buccaneers signed him to their practice squad after he cleared waivers.
In 2016, Huff has appeared in seven games for the Eagles and caught 13 passes for 72 yards receiving and a touchdown to go along with three rushing attempts for 10 yards. He has also totaled 252 kick return yards and a touchdown for the Eagles on special teams.
