According to Josh Weinfuss, the Cardinals waived sixth-round LB Evan Weaver on Saturday.
Weinfuss adds that Arizona could sign Weaver to their practice squad.
Weaver, 22, was selected by the Cardinals in the sixth round of the 2020 NFL Draft out of California. He signed a four-year, $3,462,232 rookie contract including a signing bonus of $167,232.
During his college career, Weaver recorded 407 total tackles, 23.5 tackles for loss, 8.5 sacks, two interceptions, 11 pass defenses, two forced fumbles, and scored one defensive touchdown.
