The Los Angeles Chargers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed TE Sean Culkin on injured reserve and promoted TE Stephen Anderson to their active roster.
- The Chargers also signed TE Matt Sokol, DE Jeff Holland, and DB Quenton Meeks to their practice squad and released S Adarius Pickett and OL Chris Brown from the unit.
Hereโs the Chargers updated practice squad:
- DE Anthony Lanier
- WR Artavis Scott (Injured)
- RB Detrez Newsome
- OL Spencer Drango
- WR Jason Moore
- WR Anthony Johnson
- DB Tevaughn Campbell
- TE Matt Sokol
- DE Jeff Holland
- DB Quenton Meeks
Culkin, unfortunately, suffered a season-ending Achilles tear last weekend, so this move was expected.
Culkin, 26, wound up going undrafted out of Missouri back in 2017. He later signed a three-year, $1.66 million contract with the Chargers.
Culkin will make a base salary of $645,000 for the 2019 season before becoming a restricted free agent in 2020.
In 2019, Culkin appeared in four games for the Chargers.
