Adam Schefter reports that the Chiefs placed WR/KR De’Anthony Thomas on the non-football illness list Thursday.
Thomas, 22, is in the second year of his four-year, $2,665,108 contract that includes a $420,108 signing bonus. He’ll make a base salary of $510,000 this season to go along with $600,000 in 2016.
In 2015, Thomas appeared in 10 games and ran for 140 yards on 17 carries (8.2 YPC) to go along with nine receptions for 34 yards receiving and two total touchdowns. He also contributed 227 punt return yards and 138 kick return yards this year.
