The Indianapolis Colts announced Friday that they’ve promoted OLB Joshua Perry to their active roster and waived TE Henry Krieger-Coble.
Perry, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Chargers back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.95 million contract with the Chargers and stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the contract.
The Chargers waived Perry with an injury designation coming out of the preseason and he later reverted to their injured reserve list. Los Angeles cut him loose soon after.
Perry signed on to the Colts’ practice squad a few weeks into the regular season.
In 2016, Perry appeared in 15 games and recorded 22 tackles, no sacks and a forced fumble.
