The Indianapolis Colts announced Monday that restricted free agent LB Jerrell Freeman has signed his tender.
The Colts gave Freeman a second-round tender that will pay him a salary of $2.356 million for the 2015 season.
Freeman, 28, was originally signed by the Colts to a reserve/future contract back in January of 2012.
Since joining the Colts, Freeman has recorded 516 tackles (305 solo), 15 passes defensed, 9.0 sacks, eight forced fumbles, three interceptions, including one returned for a touchdown, and two fumble recoveries in 44 starts.
Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 39 inside linebacker out of 60 qualifying players.
