Mike Garafolo of NFL Media reports that the Dolphins are re-signing veteran DE William Hayes to a one-year contract.
Hayes, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Titans back in 2008. He spent four years in Tennessee before signing on with the Rams in 2012. The Rams later traded Hayes and seventh-round pick to the Dolphins last year for a sixth-round pick.
Hayes played out his three-year, $21 million contract and was testing the open market as an unrestricted free agent.
In 2017, Hayes appeared in 10 games for the Dolphins and recorded 19 tackles and a sack.
