The Eagles announced on Tuesday they have waived veteran S Andrew Sendejo.
The move should net Philadelphia a compensatory fourth-round pick, as Sendejo had been canceling out another qualifying free-agent loss by the Eagles.

Sendejo, 32, originally signed on with the Cowboys as an undrafted free agent out of Rice back in 2010. He lasted just over a year in Dallas before he was claimed off of waivers by the Jets.
The Vikings later signed Sendejo to a four-year, $16 million contract that included $2.5 million guaranteed. Sendejo was set to make a base salary of $5.45 million for the 2019 season when the Vikings declined to pick up his option this offseason. He signed a one-year deal with the Eagles.
In 2019, Sendejo has appeared in nine games for the Eagles and recorded 21 tackles, one sack, one interception and two pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 41 safety out of 106 qualifying players.
