Former Titans OLB Kevin Dodd officially passed through waivers unclaimed on Wednesday, which means he’s now free to sign with a team of his choosing.
The Titans recently placed Dodd on the did-not-report list last week before cutting loose on Tuesday. However, his future in Tennessee had been in question for a few months.
Dodd made the decision skip the team’s OTAs after the Titans traded up for Harold Landry in this year’s draft.
Dodd, 26, is a former second-round pick by the Titans out of Clemson in the 2016 NFL Draft. He is entering the third year of his four-year, $6.55 million rookie contract and was set to earn a base salary of $1.04 million in 2018.
In 2017, Dodd appeared in nine games for the Titans and recorded seven total tackles and no sacks.
