The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve signed 10 players to futures contract for the 2020 season and signed OL Chad Slade, OL Eric Smith and LB Devante Downs to renegotiated contracts.
The full list includes:
- RB Jon Hilliman
- FB George Aston
- WR Alex Bachman
- WR Reggie White
- OT Nate Wozniak
- C Tanner Volson
- DE Kevin Wilkins
- DB Derrick Baity
- P Sean Smith
- LS Drew Scott
Futures deals are essentially camp invites that will give players the opportunity to compete for roster spots during offseason workouts and training camp.
Hilliman, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Rutgers back in April. He later agreed to a three-year, $1.755 million contract with the Giants, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
Since then, Hilliman has been on and off of the Giants’ active roster.
In 2019, Hilliman appeared in three games for the Giants and rushed for 91 yards on 30 carries (3 YPC) to go along with three receptions for one yard and no touchdowns.
