The Jaguars announced on Thursday they have signed CB Parry Nickerson to the roster.
Nickerson fills the spot Jacksonville opened up by trading CB Jalen Ramsey to the Rams.
Nickerson, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Jets in the 2018 NFL Draft out of Tulane. He is entering the second year of his four-year, $2,637,480 rookie contract and set to make a base salary of $570,000 this season.
The Jets traded Nickerson to the Seahawks for a conditional 2020 seventh-round draft pick coming out of the preseason. Seattle waived him and signed him to the practice squad where he’s been for most of the season.
In 2018, Nickerson appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 21 total tackles, one tackle for loss, no interceptions, and one pass defense.
