The Detroit Lions have claimed DT Albert Huggins off of waivers from the Texans on Tuesday, according to his agent.

Huggins, 23, signed with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Clemson following the 2019 NFL Draft. He was waived by Houston coming out of the preseason and re-signed to the practice squad.
The Eagles signed Huggins off of Houston’s practice squad before waiving him in November. Huggins was briefly signed by the Patriots, but later returned to the Eagles a month later.
Philadelphia waived Huggins in July and he was later claimed off of waivers by the Texans. However, Houston opted to waive him on Monday.
In 2019, Huggins appeared in four games for the Texans adn recorded three tackles and no sacks.
