The Detroit Lions announced Wednesday that they’ve placed G T.J. Lang on injured reserve and promoted CB Mike Ford to their active roster.
Lang had been dealing with a neck injury.
Lang, 31, is a former fourth-round pick of the Packers back in 2009. He has played out his four-year, $20.8 million contract before agreeing to a three-year, $28.5 million contract from the Lions with $19 million fully guaranteed with the Lions in 2017.
Lang stands to make base salaries of $8 million and $8.25 million over the final two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Lang appeared in six games for the Lions.
