The Detroit Lions announced Friday that they’ve signed DE Eric Lee to their practice squad and released RB Nick Brossette from the unit.
Here’s the Lions updated practice squad:
- DT John Atkins
- WR Tom Kennedy
- LB Steve Longa
- TE Isaac Nauta
- T Matt Nelson
- LB Anthony Pittman
- DE Jonathan Wynn
- LB Jason Cabinda
- WR Marvin Hall
- DE Eric Lee
Lee, 25, originally signed on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of USF back in 2016. He spent over a year in Houston before he was waived at the start of the 2017 season.
From there, Lee had brief stints with the Bills and Patriots before signing on to the Lions’ practice squad last year. He was eventually promoted to their active roster, but wound up being a roster cut a few weeks ago.
In 2018, Lee appeared in nine games for the Lions and recorded six tackles and no sacks.
