NFL Notes: Bears, Chargers, Giants, Redskins, & Titans

Bears

• Bears HC John Fox announced that RB Matt Forte (MCL) and WR Eddie Royal (knee) have been ruled out for Week 9.

Chargers

• The Chargers ruled out LT King Dunlap (ankle), C Chris Watt (shoulder) and G Orlando Franklin (doubtful, knee) for Week 9.
• TE Ladarius Green (ankle) is listed as doubtful for Monday night’s game.

Giants

• Josina Anderson reports that DE Jason Pierre-Paul (hand) is traveling with the team to Tampa Bay for Week 9.
• According to Ian Rapoport, players on the Giants were told that Pierre-Paul is expected to play on Sunday.

Redskins

• The Redskins announced that NT Terrance Knighton (migraine) will not play in Week 9.

Titans

• The Titans will keep the 2016 conditional seventh-round draft pick they traded to the Browns in exchange for RB Terrance West, as he did not meet playing time requirements prior to getting cut. (Aaron Wilson)
• Adam Caplan reports that RB David Cobb will not be activated off the short-term injured reserve list next week.
• The Titans ruled out CB Jason McCourty (hamstring) for Week 9.
