NFL Notes: Giants, Packers, Patriots, Seahawks & Titans

Giants

• Mike Garafolo reports that the Giants are expected to be active in checking out veteran offensive linemen cut on Saturday.
• According to Garafolo, NFL teams were trying strike a trade with them, but there was apparently no deal to be made.

Packers

• According to Howard Balzer, the Packers brought in LS Brett Goode for a tryout.

Patriots

• Mike Reiss reports that the Patriots worked out: OT Clay DeBord, TE Nic Jacobs, WR Mitch Mathews, WR K.J. Maye, DB Tyler Patmon, and RB David Cobb.

Seahawks

• Howard Balzer reports that the Seahawks tried out four long snappers including: John DePalma, Reid Ferguson, Tyler Ott, and Jeff Overbaugh.

Titans

• Paul Kuharsky reports that had the Jets not taken CB Dee Millner No. 9 overall back in 2013, he would have been the choice of then Titans GM Ruston Webster.
• Ultimately, the Titans came away with G Chance Warmack.
