Jason La Canfora of NFL Network reported earlier today that Bob Sanders will visit with the Jacksonville Jaguars. La Canfora also mentioned that this could be the first of many visits for Sanders.
Pro Football Talks Mike Florio mentioned that he believes that the main the Colts kept Sanders around for the last few seasons had a lot to do with their concern that he would join a division-rival.
Sanders is a free agent and can sign on with any team before the impending lockout that would take place on March 4th. As of now, all AFC South teams are rumored to be in play (Texans, Titans and Jaguars) and the Minnesota Vikings could be a another team with some interest.
The National Football Post also mentions the Buffalo Bills, Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys and the Chicago Bears as other potential suitors.
Despite the number of interested teams, Sanders will most likely have to sign an incentive-based contract because of the fact that he’s only been able to play in nine games over the last three years.
