ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported earlier today that Pittsburgh Steelers defensive coordinator Dick LeBeau will become a free agent at the end of the season which should catch the Steelers attention due to the success of Lebeau’s defense.
While he is 73 years old, LeBeau has maintained one of the top defenses year in and year out for the Pittsburgh Steelers and could be one the most invaluable members of the Steelers franchise.
Depending on what happens during the offseason, the Arizona Cardinals have been suggested as aย possibilityย for his services if chooses to move on. Both he and Ken Whisenhunt were skipped over the Steelers heading position which could lead to a reunion in Arizona.
It would be hard to imagine a Steelers defense without LeBeau so it would be pretty surprising to see him leave.
