The Green Bay Packers announced Tuesday that they’ve placed OT Jason Spriggs (knee) on injured reserve and promoted TE Emanuel Byrd to their active roster.
- The Packers also signed WR Jake Kumerow to their practice squad.
The Packers’ practice squad now consists of:
- CB Donatello Brown
- OL Kofi Amichia
- WR DeAngelo Yancey
- DE Izaah Lunsford
- LB Ahmad Thomas
- DB Raysean Pringle
- TE Robert Tonyan
- WR Colby Pearson
- FB Joe Kerridge
- WR Jake Kumerow
Spriggs, 23, is a former second-round pick of the Packers back in 2016. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $5.004 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $677,468 and $904,936 over the next two years.
The Packers placed him on injured reserve a few weeks into the regular season before activatingย him last month.
In 2017, Spriggs appeared in just seven games for the Packers.
