Packers Re-Sign RB Chris Brooks To Two-Year, $4.85M Deal

The Green Bay Packers have re-signed RB Chris Brooks to a two-year, $4.85 million extension, his agency announced.

Brooks, 25, signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of BYU in May 2023 and wound up cracking their active roster.

However, Miami ended up cutting Brooks with an injury designation in August 2024 and he signed with Green Bay’s practice squad shortly after. He was promoted to the active roster two weeks later and remained there since.

In 2025, Brooks appeared in all 17 games for the Packers and recorded 27 rushing attempts for 106 yards (3.9 YPC) and no touchdowns. He also caught 13 passes for 91 yards.
