According to Tom Pelissero, the Panthers have claimed CB Rasul Douglas and DE Shareef Miller off waivers from the Eagles.
The Panthers also claimed OT Trent Scott off waivers from the Chargers.
Douglas, 24, is a former third-round pick of the Eagles back in 2017. He’s currently in the final year of his four-year, $3.17 million contract and stands to make a base salary of $754,750 for the 2020 season.
In 2019, Douglas appeared in all 16 games for the Eagles and recorded 35 tackles, no interceptions and 10 passes defended. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 98 cornerback receiver out of 113 qualifying players.
Miller, 23, was drafted in the fourth round out of Penn State by the Eagles in 2019. He signed a four-year, $3.4 million deal that included a $488,392 signing bonus.
In 2019, Miller appeared in one game for the Eagles and did not record a statistic.
