Ian Rapoport reports that the Panthers are placing WR D.J. Moore on the COVID-19 list among others.
The COVID-19 list was created this summer for a player who either tests positive for or who has been quarantined after having been in close contact with an infected person or persons.
Players will remain on the list until they are medically cleared to return.
Moore, 23, is a former first-round pick of the Panthers back in 2018. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $11,171,316 contract with Carolina.
The Panthers have a fifth-year option to pick up on Moore in 2021.
In 2020 Moore has appeared in 12 games for the Panthers and caught 50 passes for 924 yards receiving and four touchdowns. He has also rushed for 21 yards.
