Palardy will compete with Swayze Waters for the Panthers’ starting job this summer.
Palardy, 23, originally signed on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of Tennessee back in 2014. He lasted less than a month in New York before catching on with the Raiders.
The Rams later signed him off of the Raiders’ practice squad and brought him back on a future/reserve deal before cutting him at the start of the 2015 season.
