Patriots restricted free agent DL Adam Butler has signed his one-year tender for the 2020 season, according to Mike Reiss.
The Patriots placed a second-round tender on Butler that will cost them $3.27 million for the 2020 season.
Butler, 25, wound up going undrafted out of Vanderbilt back in 2017. He later signed a three-year rookie contract with the Patriots.
Butler will be an unrestricted free agent in 2021.
In 2019, Butler appeared in all 16 games for the Patriots and recorded 26 tackles, six sacks and five pass defenses.
