Patriots Sign OL Chris Barker To Practice Squad, Cut OL Sean Hickey

The Patriots signed OL Chris Barker to their practice squad and released OL Sean Hickey on Friday, according to Doug Kyed.

The Patriots’ practice squad now consists of:

1. OL Chris Barker
2. DB Brandon Dixon (Exception)
3. WR Austin Hill 
4. LB Eric Martin (Exception)
5. WR Chris Harper 
6. OT Cameron Fleming 
7. TE Asante Cleveland
8. OT Blaine Clausell
9. LB Darius Fleming
10. LB Brandon King

Barker, 25, originally signed on with the Dolphins as an undrafted free agent out of Nevada in May of 2013. However, he was unable to make the final 53-man roster and was placed on waivers at the start of the 2013 season.

New England later claimed him off of waivers and he’s been on and off of the team’s practice squad since then.

Barker appeared in one game for the Patriots last season, but has yet to be active for a single game this year.
