Update:
The Las Vegas Raiders officially signed DT Datone Jones to an undisclosed contract on Friday.
Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Raiders are signing veteran DL Datone Jones to a contract.
Jones, 30, was taken with the No. 26 overall pick back in 2013. He played out the final year of his four-year, $7.71 million rookie contract but the Packers declined to pick up Jones’ fifth-year option for the 2017 season.
Minnesota signed him to a one-year, $3.75 million deal in 2017 but he was, unfortunately, placed on injured reserve and later released with a settlement. After brief stints with the Lions, 49ers, and Cowboys, Jones signed a one-year deal with the Jaguars last summer.
Jacksonville would later release Jones coming out of the preseason.
Jones was limited to only one game in 2018 with the Cowboys because of a hamstring injury. He did not record a stat.
