The Los Angeles Rams officially re-signed restricted free agent OLB Matt Longacre on Monday.
Los Angeles placed the original-round restricted tender on Longacre, which will cost them $1.907 for the 2018 season.
Longacre, 26, signed on with the Rams as an undrafted free agent out of Northwest Missouri State back in May of 2015. He made a base salary of $615,000 this year and was testing the market as a restricted free agent this offseason.
In 2017, Longacre appeared in 14 games for the Rams and recorded 23 tackles, 5.5 sacks, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Pro Football Focus rates him as the No. 63 overall edge defender out of 106 qualifying players.
