The Los Angeles Rams announced that they’ve placed WR/KR Pharoh Cooper on injured reserve and re-signed WR JoJo Natson to a contract on Wednesday.
Cooper, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Rams back in 2016. He’s currently in the third year of his four-year, $2.89 million contract and stands to make base salaries of $630,000 and $720,000 over the next two years of the agreement.
In 2018, Cooper has appeared in one game and totaled 75 kick return yards and 12 punt return yards for the Rams.
Natson, 24, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of Akron back in May of last year. Indianapolis, unfortunately, decided to waive him as they trimmed their roster down to the 53-man limit and heย later signed on to the Jets’ practice squad.
The Rams signed him to a contract this past July, but he was waived coming out of the preseason.
In 2017, Natson appeared in seven games and caught two passes for 18 yards and rushed for 15 yards on one carry. He also totaled 325 kick return yards and 38 punt return yards.
