Tom Pelissero of NFL Media reports that the Redskins have claimed LB Tanner Vallejo off of waivers from the Cardinals on Monday.
Other roster moves for Washington:
- Redskins signed DT Treyvon Hester. (NFLTR)
- Redskins signed LB Chris Odom to their practice squad.
Vallejo, 24, is a former sixth-round pick by the Bills out of Boise State in the 2017 NFL Draft. He was in the second year of his four-year rookie contract when the Bills waived him at the start of the 2018 season.
The Browns claimed Vallejo off of waivers last year before placing him on injured reserve. From there, Vallejo was claimed by the Cardinals, but wound up being among their final roster cuts this past weekend.
In 2018, Vallejo appeared in 13 games for the Browns and recorded 27 total tackles, no sacks and a forced fumble.
