Redskins Placing DB Joshua Holsey On Injured Reserve

Redskins HC Jay Gruden announced Monday that they’re placing DB Joshua Holsey on injured reserve, per JP Finlay.

Holsey, 24, is a former seventh-round pick of the Redskins back in 2017. He was in the second year of his four-year, $2.48 million contract when the Redskins elected to cut him loose last month.

Washington later re-signed Holsey to their practice squad before promoting him to their active roster this past weekend.

In 2018, Holsey was limited to appearing in one game for the Redskins and recorded two tackles and no interceptions.
