The Washington Redskins announced Tuesday that they’ve signed LB Cassanova McKinzy and T Malcolm Bunche to their practice squad and released DB Deion Harris and
DE Chris Odom from the unit.
Hereโs the Redskins updated practice squad:
- DE Ryan Bee
- WR Jehu Chesson
- T Timon Parris
- S Jeremy Reaves
- RB Craig Reynolds
- TE Drew Belcher
- WR Darvin Kidsy
- OT Travis Vornkahl
- LB Cassanova McKinzy
- OT Malcolm Bunche
McKinzy, 26, originally signed on with the Buccaneers as an undrafted free agent out of Auburn back in May of last year. Tampa Bay wound up waiving him during the preseason and he caught on with the Rams’ practice squad.
Los Angeles signed him to a futures contract but made him one of their final roster cuts as they trimmed down to the 53-man limit. From there, he signed on with the Redskins last year and has been on and off of their roster ever since.
In 2019, McKinzy has appeared in three games for the Redskins and recorded one tackle and one sack.
