Field Yates reports that the Redskins have signed former AAF QB Josh Woodrum to a contract on Thursday.
Woodrum, 26, signed with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Liberty back in 2016. He lasted just a few days in New York before he was waived after the team signed QB B.J. From there, Woodrum had brief stints with the Colts, Bills, Bears, Ravens and Browns before returning to Baltimore in 2017. Unfortunately, the Ravens cut him loose coming out of the preseason last year.
During his four-year college career at Liberty, Woodrum threw for 10,266 yards while completing 63.9 percent of his passes to go along with 61 touchdowns and 30 interceptions. He also contributed 228 yards rushing and 16 rushing touchdowns.
