The Washington Redskins officially waived DB Stefan McClure from injured reserve with a settlement on Wednesday.
McClure, 24, originally signed on with the Colts as an undrafted free agent out of California back in May of last year. He was waived coming out of the preseason but was later signed to their practice squad.
The Colts brought McClure back on a future/reserve contract only to cut him loose after this year’s draft.
The Redskins signed McClure to a contract during the preseason before placing him on injured reserve last week.
In 2017, McClure has appeared in seven games and recorded three tackles and no interceptions for the Redskins.
