John Keim of ESPN reports that the Washington Redskins have placed WR Aldrick Robinson on waivers to make room for OLB Gabe Miller, who was signed from their practice squad today.
Robinson, 26, was taken in the sixth round of the 2011 NFL Draft by Washington. He is in the final year of his contract and would have been a restricted free agent next year.
Washington elected to re-sign to a one-year deal this past February.
This season, Robinson has appeared in five games and caught one pass for six yards and played a total of 27 snaps, according to Pro Football Focus.
