Jim Thomas of the St Louis Post-Dispatch reports that league sources have informed him that Falcons S William Moore intends to test the open market in the coming months.
Thomas suggests that the Rams could be an option for Moore and possibly even Jairus Byrd, as they’re both from Missouri.
The Falcons could always prevent Moore from reaching free agency by using their franchise tag on him, which has been a common move from NFL teams in the past few years.
The Rams could really use some help at safety so it’s makes sense that they would consider adding someone like Moore could really shore-up the position. Moore, 28, was rated as the No. 18 safety in the league by Pro Football Focus in 2012.
