Mike McCartney, the agent for DL Corey Wootton, tweets that his client has agreed to terms with the Vikings on a one-year contract.
- Alex Marvez of Fox Sports reports that Wootton receives a one-year deal worth $1.5 million, which includes $500,000 in incentives.
- ESPN’s Adam Schefter confirms that the Vikings have reached an agreement with Wootton on a one-year contract.
Wootton, 26, totaled 34 tackles, 3.5 sacks and one forced fumble last year. He was rated as the No. 45 defensive end in the league this past season, according to Pro Football Focus.
