Saints HC Sean Payton announced Tuesday that they have re-signed TE Tom Crabtree to a contract and placed WR Joe Morgan on the reserve/suspended list.

Crabtree, 28, has already been released twice since joining the team just a few weeks ago. He signed a two-year, $1.6 million contract with the Buccaneers back in 2013, but he lasted just a little over a year with the team before he was cut loose back this past May.
Last year, Crabtree appeared in seven games and caught four passes for 21 yards receiving and a touchdown.
Morgan, 26, signed a one-year, $495,000 contract with the Saints back in March. He has appeared in just one game this season and has yet to record a single receptions.
