The Pittsburgh Steelers officially re-signed exclusive rights free agent OL Matt Feiler to a one-year contract for the 2019 season on Friday.
Feiler, 26, wound up signing on with the Texans as an undrafted free agent out of Bloomsburg back in 2014. He spent just over a year in Houston before he was waived at the start fo the 2015 season and later signed to the Steelers’ practice squad.
Feiler returned to the Steelers on futures deals for the 2016 and 2017 season before agreeing to a one-year extension last year.
In 2018, Feiler appeared in 11 games for the Steelers, making 10 starts. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 32 tackle out of 80 qualifying players.
