The Steelers announced Monday they’ve signed QB Devlin Hodges, DT Greg Gilmore, DE Henry Mondeaux, OL Damian Prince and LB Tuzar Skipper.
In corresponding moves, the Steelers waived LB Keion Adams, DE Jay Hayes, DT Chris Nelson, OL R.J. Prince, QB Brogan Roback and WR KaโRaun White.
Roback, 24, wound up going undrafted out of Eastern Michigan in 2018 before signing on with the Browns in May. Unfortunately, the Browns waived him during the preseason and he didn’t catch on with another team during the regular season.
Roback signed a futures deal with the Steelers in January.
During his five-year college career at Eastern Michigan, Roback threw for 8,624 yards while completing 58 percent of his passes to go along with 57 touchdowns and 38 interceptions over the course of 45 games.
Mondeaux, 23, wound up signing on with the Saints as an undrafted free agent out of Oregon back in May of 2018 He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract, but was waived coming out of the preseason.
The Saints later signed Mondeaux to their practice squad before releasing him a few days later. He signed a futures deal with the Chiefs early in 2019, but was waived at the beginning of May.
During his college career at Oregon, Mondeaux recorded 111 tackles, 10 sacks, two fumble recoveries and four pass defenses over the course of four seasons and 41 games.
